Recognizing the cognitive benefits of stimulating activities, Maraya, Centre Manager, has curated a diverse range of programs designed to challenge, inspire, and engage the minds of participants. From art therapy to music sessions, cognitive exercises to sensory experiences, clients are encouraged to explore their interests and tap into their creativity. These activities not only promote mental agility but also instill a sense of achievement and purpose, redefining the narrative around dementia and memory loss.

Meagan Harding is a remarkable individual whose journey has been interwoven with compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of others. As the Managing Director and Owner of Stay Connected Activity Centre, Meagan brings together her extensive background in the nursing profession and her visionary leadership to create a haven of support and engagement for seniors facing dementia and memory loss challenges.

It was during her tenure as a nursing agency manager that Meagan’s visionary spirit truly took flight. Being an active participant in her local community, she recognized a poignant need for a special place of support for those grappling with dementia and memory loss, and their devoted caregivers. This marked the genesis of the Stay Connected Activity Centre.

Our Centre offers a large range of stimulating activities for the enjoyment of our clients. 

Regular Outings

Our clients enjoy regular social outings around the Port Stephens area with the use of our custom modified bus.

Carer Support

Our Centre also aims to support our client’s carers as well offering respite care throughout the week when required.
